Rare and Unusual Speciality Coffees

As a specialty artisan roaster, we strive to source rare and unique coffees from around the globe to complement our signature range. These exceptional coffees often come from experimental batches crafted by farmers, or are produced in very limited quantities, making them particularly hard to find.

The beans in our rare and unique collection boast a minimum SCA cupping score of 86 or higher. We aim to introduce a new coffee each month and share these updates through our Instagram page

Grown in Ethiopia’s lush highlands, Bekele’s family farm flourishes with coffee trees interwoven with bananas, false bananas, and avocados—creating a rich, biodiverse environment that nurtures every bean to perfection.

    Uganda - African Moon

    Discover the extraordinary DRUGAR (Dried Ugandan Arabica) from the Rwenzori Mountains, a region where the art of natural coffee processing has sustained local families for generations. Crafted from SL14 and SL28 varietals, this coffee captures the essence of its rich cultural heritage and vibrant community.

    African Moon delights the palate with its exceptional sweetness and juiciness, featuring bold cherry notes that seamlessly transition into a luscious dark chocolate finish.

    Mexico - Decaf Mountain Water

    Sourced from smallholders in Frontera, Chiapas, nestled in the Sierra Madre mountains, this coffee benefits from the same microclimate as the famed Huehuetenango region.     What sets this coffee apart is the meticulous Mountain Water Process, an all-natural decaffeination method that uses pure water from Pico de Orizaba, Mexico’s highest peak.
